Chairman Blair Comrie would like to thank all those who supplied cattle for the British Blue stand at the Agri-Expo they certainly generated a lot of interest and were a great spectacle for the breed. He would also like to say a big thank you to all those who helped on the Blue stand & supplied tray bakes. It was very much appreciated.

The Judge, Andrew Kay, (Gass Herd) commented “I was honoured to judge the British Blues at the Agri Expo, I thoroughly enjoyed my day. There was a fantastic show of Blues for me to judge, so well done to all Exhibitors. My overall champion ‘Solway View Pug ET’ was the bull which was a strong, correct bull with plenty of shape and character and my reserve overall champion ‘Solway View Rosie ET’ was a real flashy heifer which won a very strong class'. It was great to see the Agri Expo was a huge success after being missed for a year.”.

Exhibitors travelled the length and breadth of the country to support this event which has grown to be the winter show of choice

The male & overall championship went to Kevin Watret with Solway View Pug ET. An October 2020 born bull calf from the Bedgebury Kent and Solway View Kesha ET flush. He was presented the Ryder Farming Perpetual Trophy for the male champion and David Dickinson memorial trophy (official society auctioneer to the British Blue Cattle Society 1989-2007) for the overall championship.
